DATA COMMITMENT
Customer data is never for sale.
This page describes the product principles applied to the Visual Stock pilot. Formal commercial terms and a Data Processing Agreement will accompany the commercial service.
Customer ownership
Customers retain ownership of their catalogue records, product images, stock movements, invoices and customer-specific learning data.
No sale or advertising use
We do not sell customer data, build advertising profiles from it or provide it to data brokers.
No cross-customer training
A company’s confirmed product photos and corrections improve only that company’s matching library by default. They are not used to train another customer’s system.
Controlled access
Employee and administrator access is authenticated and role-based. Catalogue data, product images and exports are kept behind authenticated access.
Retention and deletion
The commercial product will provide defined retention, export and deletion controls. Temporary source images will be kept only when needed for the customer’s chosen workflow.
Security programme
The commercial release will include encrypted transport and storage, private object access, audit logging, backups, restoration testing, incident response and a documented subprocessor list.
